These "Monarchs of the North", the largest living members of the deer family constitute one of Canada's greatest wildlife assets. The tourist, pausing with his family by a northern lake are thrilled at the sight of a moose feeding quietly in the wilderness. The hunter, escaping from the pressures of their job, business, and urban living finds solitude and the excitement of the wild while hunting for the majestic moose.

Processing is not included but is professionally available in Ear Falls where it can be processed to fit your instructions.

2010 Woman Lake Outpost Hunt

The Woman Lake Outpost  hunt has always been in high demand. Reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis as the number of tags are very limited. This hunt books early so get your request in the hat as soon as possible.  The hunt is in WMU Zone 3, opening on October 11, 2010. We have recently acquired a few more tags providing additional opportunities for our guests to book this hunt

The Woman Lake Outpost is located 15 miles from the main lodge on the Woman River Chain of Lakes and is reached only by boat. This chain of lakes is over 30 miles long and offers a great Ontario moose hunting experience. Additionally we have several portage lakes with boats and motors for use during this hunt. A very large area, with a very good success ratio.

Our Package include the following

• 7 Day American Plan Moose Hunting Package
• Completely outfitted outpost camp - Outpost has been completely refurbished, solar electric, showers, endless hot and cold water, propane heat -thermostatically controlled, propane refrigerator, propane cooking stove,  and comfortable bunks. • Meals - We pride ourselves in top quality meals during a long day of hunting . Steaks, pork chops, chicken, ground beef, ham, bacon, eggs, bread, canned soups, luncheon meats, vegetables, fruits, onions, potatoes, plenty of coffee, fruit juices & all the necessary items to prepare gourmet outdoor-outpost meals. Your guide pride's himself in his ability to prepare hearty meals for his hunters.
• 16' fully equipped boats,  25hp outboard motors, & all gasoline
• Professional Guide Service - one guide per 2 hunters. (Only available as a guided hunt)
•  Gasoline
• Adult Tags . . Bull & Cow Tags . . no calf tags unless requested. The largest percentage of our tags are bull tags. They are on a first come first serve basis. We have our allocation of tags, and upon booking you are assured the adult tag you requested and it is assigned under your name.

A Full Service Package, you bring clothing, gun and ammo, rod and reel, and personal items.
